Beth Bilyeu, Director of the Forest City Economic Development, kicked off the celebration by greeting the crowd, and sharing the history of the project. In 2015 the Iowa Area Development Group made the introduction to Cobblestone Hotels to start the discussion of a hotel project. “It is nice to have a hotel brand that prefers us, rather than tolerates a smaller market. So, we think it is the perfect match.” Said Bilyeu.

Ruiter welcomed the new hotel and referred to it as a flagship hotel with the
amenities that will entice travelers to come stay in Forest City. “It is unbelievable
that the fruits of our labor are here today.” said Mayor Ruiter.

location.
Ron Tillery, Executive Director of Phelps County Development Corporation, kicked off the event, welcoming all attendees. “Today we celebrate this new addition to the Holdrege business community. There are a lot of people who played an important role in getting us to this point,” he said.
“Nebraska, when
we started the brand, was one of our go to states. We did a lot of growth here
in our earlier years, and always appreciate the strong support of the
