April 15, 2025 – Neenah, WI – Cobblestone Hotels celebrated the grand opening and official ribbon cutting ceremony for their new location in  Julesburg, Colorado.  

A crowd gathered in the lobby of the hotel to celebrate the official grand opening ceremony for the Cobblestone Inn & Suites. Representatives of the organizations that have played a part in bringing this project to fruition took a moment to enjoy the product of their hard work, and some shared statements expressing their appreciation and optimism for the future of the hotel and the future of Julesburg.  

One such speaker was Rhonda Graham, Director of the Community Economic Development of Sedgewick County. Graham, who has been a staunch advocate for the project since the beginning stages, shared her appreciation for the support from Cobblestone Hotels and county and town officials, as well as the William Stretesky Foundation and the investment group Julesburg Colorado Hotel, LLC. Graham voiced her enthusiasm for the future of the town, stating that ”This is just going to be the first step in a fantastic boost to our economy”. 

Greg Nein, Town Manager for the Town of Julesburg, also shared his vision for the part that this hotel will play in the development of Julesburg, stating that “It was a big undertaking, and is going to be a big part to help the town expand into the future”. Nein and his peers are optimistic that the  addition of this hotel will encourage visitors to stay locally when attending area events and consequently funnel commerce back into established Julesburg businesses, as well as launch the formation of new economic growth. 

Jeremy Griesbach, President of Development for Cobblestone Hotels, took a moment to thank the community of Julesburg for their  partnership, and expressed gratitude for the part that this hotel plays in the expansion of the Cobblestone brand. Griesbach shared “As our  brand has evolved, we are building into some bigger communities …. but small-town America is our bread and butter”. Griesbach continued ”And to get out here and see a community like Julesburg and be part of… the growth and history of the city … makes us very excited”.
