May 6, 2025 – Neenah, WI – Cobblestone Hotels celebrated the grand opening and official ribbon cutting ceremony for their new location in  Russells Point at Indian Lake, OH.  

In attendance were members of the Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce, Logan County Chamber of Commerce, representatives from Cobblestone Hotels, and members of the investment group Indian Lake Hotel Group, LLC. Speakers shared their excitement about the future of the hotel and the role that it will play in the development of Russells Point and the larger Indian Lake area.  

Mike Major, who serves as the Chairman for the investment group behind this project, shared that “We investors are hoping that this is a catalyst for good things to happen, and we’re already sensing that those good things are happening.” This passion for the community was something that each speaker recognized and applauded in the local players who worked diligently to bring the hotel to Russells Point.  

Indian Lake and the surrounding area is a popular tourist destination in the summertime, with attractions like beaches, watersports, camping opportunities, fishing, boating, and much more. While the summers are certainly busy, the hope is that this hotel will attract and keep visitors in Russells Point during the wintertime as well, whether they are staying for business, social reasons,  or leisure.
