June 13, 2024 – Neenah, WI – Cobblestone Hotels celebrated the grand opening and official ribbon cutting ceremony for their new hotel in Alpine, Wyoming. An enthusiastic group gathered in front of the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites to celebrate this exciting day for the town of Alpine. Among those to speak were representatives of the Wyoming Office of Tourism, representatives from the Town of Alpine, members of the Star Valley Chamber of Commerce, and representatives from the Cobblestone Hotels corporate team.  

Eric Green, Mayor of the Town of Alpine, shared a few words on the council’s outlook for the future of Alpine, and the part that  this hotel plays in that. “I’ve always said that our goal should be to have people live and work here” Green said, “and so this is kind  of the next step in that plan”. Green also shared his goal to have the road in front of the hotel repaved, to increase visibility of the  hotel and make access to the parking lot easier. 

Jeremy Griesbach spoke on behalf of Cobblestone Hotels. Griesbach, who serves as President of Development for the  Cobblestone Franchise, thanked all the local players for the energy and passion that they dedicated to this project. “Big  City Quality… Small Town Values has been our tagline for a lot of years, and it really fits what we do” Griesbach stated,  continuing to say, “I think that Alpine is a perfect example of that”.
