September 22, 2026 – Neenah, WI – Cobblestone Hotels celebrated the grand opening and official ribbon cutting ceremony for their 3^rd hotel open in the state of Alabama, in the city of Bay Minette.  

The ceremony took place under the porte cochere of the newly opened hotel, with representatives from the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, City of Bay Minette, Baldwin County, and the Cobblestone Hotels leadership team in attendance to celebrate the opening of the new hotel and the growth that it represents for the city.  

This hotel will support other city and county-wide efforts to further the development of Bay Minette and larger Baldwin County. Kristina Pittman, Executive Director of the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, was a staunch advocate of establishing a hotel in downtown Bay Minette from the very beginning and worked with various other local leaders to help bring this project to fruition. “We knew our area was growing,” said  Pittman. “We knew it was coming up, and we needed something significant to make our city proud and bring it to the next level.”  

Joshua Brown, Mayor of the City of Bay Minette, echoed Pittman’s enthusiasm for the positive change coming to the city. “…it has  been over 25 years since we’ve had a new hotel open up in the city of Bay Minette” Brown said, “and that is a significant impact and  signal to the growth that we are experiencing right now, and the growth that we will continue to experience as we keep the charm of  being that small town of Bay Minette”.
