February 22, 2024 – Neenah, WI – Cobblestone Hotels celebrated the groundbreaking of their new hotel in Foley, AL.
In attendance were representatives from the City of Foley, the Alabama Credit Union, and members of the Cobblestone Hotels team. All gathered alongside enthusiastic community members to celebrate this new addition to Foley.
Jeremy Griesbach, President of Development for Cobblestone Hotels, shared his excitement about the growth of Cobblestone Hotels, noting that the franchise currently has fourteen locations under construction across ten different states. The establishment of this hotel marks the second location in the state of Alabama and represents the brand’s continued growth into the Southeastern part of the country.

The Mayor of Foley, Ralph Hellmich, also expressed his support for this project and the role that this hotel will play in supporting the local economy. “We feel that we need more hotels in Foley” Hellmich said “and this is a real good start”. Hellmich also remarked on the hotel’s location, which is convenient to several area attractions. “This location, we think, is incredible, right next to our farmer’s market and right next to our new pickleball courts, and it’s right in the heart of Foley” Hellmich stated. The addition of this hotel will give visitors yet another reason to stay in Foley and spend time exploring he city’s unique local businesses and attractions.

This hotel will be a seventy-three room facility spanning four floors. Guests will be able to enjoy Cobblestone’s consistent amenities such as 24-hour Seattle’s Best Coffee service, high-speed internet access, and a complimentary hot breakfast each morning. Guestrooms will be equipped with flat-panel televisions, microwaves, refrigerators, and in-room personal coffee brewers.

The Cobblestone Hotel & Suites will be located on Miflin Road in Foley, Alabama. This hotel will host an outdoor pool, business center, onsite fitness center, and onsite convenience store to meet the needs of those seeking lodging in the Foley area. The property is being constructed by Brimark Builders and managed by Slate Hospitality Group.
