NEENAH, WISCONSIN – Cobblestone Hotels, LLC® broke ground today for the Cobblestone Inn & Suites ® in Menomonie, Wis.

“Menomonie is an exciting spot, and is a great presence for us. We have 73 hotels open and now 12 under construction, so we’re very excited about this venture,” said Brian Wogernese, President and CEO of Cobblestone Hotels.

The ground breaking of the Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Menomonie, Wis. will be the newest addition to the many properties currently open or being built here in Cobblestone Hotels’ home state. Cobblestone Inn & Suites of Menomonie, Wis. will be joining the Wisconsin family of Clintonville, Oshkosh, Chippewa Falls, Barron, and many others.

I’ve been supporting along the way because I think we need this in downtown Menomonie,” said Chancellor Meyer of UW-Stout at the ceremony. “For us, it’s not only having a hotel in close proximity to campus, but also the opportunity where people can get the feel of downtown. What we’re trying to do is develop as many partnerships as we can, and have living lab situations and this, is certainly going to be a huge opportunity for students.”

Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Menomonie will be in the center of all that Menomonie has to offer. It is near the University of Wisconsin-Stout, one of the nation’s top hospitality universities, and is also conveniently adjacent to Lake Menomonie at 149 East Main St. The hotel will be built by Heartland Builders and managed by WHG Companies, LLC.
